SUPERON Super Optimal SS Electrode E 2209-16 SUPERON SUPER OPTIMAL E2209-16 welding electrode is primarily used for welding duplex stainless steels, particularly types 2205 and 2209, and similar alloys. It also finds application in welding these steels to other grades of stainless steel and even carbon steels. The weld metal produced offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion, cracking, and pitting, especially in environments with hydrogen sulfide and chlorides. SIzes available from 2.5mm, 3.15mm, 4mm and 5mm.
